This is an interesting phenomenon that has been baffling scientists throughout the globe.
The story is 100% true (you can research the story and sources) and it portrays a man who had a stroke that killed his visual cortex. So even though his eyes were healthy, he lost all sight and became blind.
But he can navigate rooms with obstacles without ever having entered the room. He can also detect emotions through facial expressions.
So, what’s the drill?
This case happened in Burundi and the man claims to navigate through instinct.
There are several studies being conducted on this patient in order to figure out how he “perceives” the world in order to do these amazing feats.
