This entry is about how to cook in Dead in Vinland.
As I stated in another article, food is one of the most vital resources of the game, as it usually happens with survival games.
In fact, you can survive for about two weeks with no food in real-life, but in-game you can’t hold out much more than a couple of days, so it is even harder to go on without a proper meal.
Having said that, one of the best way to ensure you characters are properly fed is to cook what you get from hunting, fishing, gardening and so on.
What Do You Need To Cook?
First of all, the simple stuff, what do you need to cook?
Well, to cook you need the ingredients, of course, but you also need the workstation for it, which is the cooking pot.
You can build the cooking pot from the crafting station, and you should use someone with a high crafting value to get it set up.
Once you build the cooking pot, it’s time to start cooking what you get.
How to Cook in Dead in Vinland?
Now, to properly cook, you need to click the cooking station and select the recipes you want to use.
You aren’t limited to cook one portion, or even five of them, so cook whatever you have and it always takes half a day.
You can cook meat, fish, or add in some vegetables to make a better meal.
On the other hand, if you only have access to vegetables, you can use water to craft a vegetable soup that is more filling.
It is as simple as that!
So, as you can see, getting the cooking pot and the cooking itself set up in the game is actually pretty easy, and the results are super effective.
