Xiaomi announced yesterday (September 24th) and officially, the new version of its Android interface, MIUI 11. The release dates, the equipment that will be updated and the various novelties of this new version are already known.
MIUI 11 was presented yesterday and will already be installed on the new smartphones presented by Xiaomi. This ROM was being subjected to several rumors and speculation in recent weeks, with Xiaomi lifting the veil on some occasions. And now it’s official.
The New Features Of The Newest Version
The novelties begin with the design, which earned Xiaomi the award of two Red Dot prizes. The Chinese brand Xiaomi has added a new custom source, Milan Pro, optimized for Chinese and western characters. MIUI 11 also integrates dynamic font scaling, changing the thickness of characters to optimize reading, and is a premiere in mobile operating systems.
Xiaomi has also developed a new listening experience for the user. New sound effects inspired by natural sounds such as water, fire, and animals have been added. MIUI has new and improved effects, including animations, custom text, and social media notifications.
Productivity was not part of the Chinese brand’s priorities! Two apps have been announced for this segment, Mi Work and Mi Go. The first will be a file aggregator, which will allow you to share them and still share the smartphone screen and still connect with wireless printers. The second is for on-the-go situations, having a currency converter and an ultra Battery saver mode that allows you to have connected your phone for 24 hours with only 5% battery.
Also, Xiaomi brought a dark mode to MIUI 11, the button to block advertising and an improved Always On screen. It is also worth highlighting the best gesture control and a more minimalist aesthetic.

The beta version of the new Chinese manufacturer interface is now available, but only in China. However, the global version arrives next Friday for test users. After this period of last development, MIUI 11 will reach all users who have a compatible smartphone from mid-October.
